Choosing Your Golf Balls

Don't Know Which Golf Balls To Buy??

Are you looking for more distance? more spin? higher flight? more control? or the cheapsest ones out there? Choosing which golf balls to play with really depends on what kind of golfer you are. Typically, a novice will have different needs from an intermediate player, and an intermediate player from an advanced player.

A novice may just want to stick with an all-around golf ball (or long distance ones if needed). I'd recommend buying Recycled Golf Balls, as it's a great deal for beginners. Intermediate and advanced players look for more accuracy/control so they tend to buy brand new. Either an all-around ball or high control golf ball.

Firmer golf balls will give you more distance, but the trade-off is that it's harder to control. Once it lands, it will typically continue to roll (great for par-4s and par-5s). Soft golf balls will give you more control/spin, but will not last as long as firmer golf balls nor will fly as far (great for par-3s). All-around golf balls have both soft and firm characteristics. The best of both worlds!
